Alice’s Adventures
Alice’s story about how she got into comic art was too good to cut but didn’t fit into the Babylon 5 discussion. So most of this miniside is dedicated to how Alice became a New York based comic illustrator after growing up in the midwest with parents who barely spoke English.
Along the way you’ll hear about next week’s guest, MVB and how he grounded her dual career paths in computer science and graphic arts. If you’ve heard any of Jeff May’s recent podcasts that touch on comics, it should be no surprise that MJS’s “One More Day” storyline from Spider-Man comes up.
We finish with a few side tangents, including an introduction to Season 3’s running tally: “What character has the best hair each episode?”.
