Public Service Announcement

After seeing it dropped from several streaming services, Babylon 5 has found a home on JMS’s YouTube channel. As of now, he’s a few episodes into the first season. But seems to be putting them out at a regular pace. It may explain why Amazon, Tubi and Roku dropped it from their libraries while we were on the Babylon 5 season.

The new home of Babylon 5 episode is the @Babylon5 YouTube Channel.

Podcast Appearance

This week, I made my first appearance on a podcast without Dre. My friend Atif Myers has a show called Sus Stories where he reviews comics. The beauty of it is how short it is and how often it drops. Including the patreon episodes, Atif drops 3 episodes a week. I can slot them in between other shows and keep up without having to dig into a two hour show. Atif tends to keep them under 20 min.

I’ve been in the habit of way overpreparing for podcasts. I guess I shouldn’t have to put in as much effort on my notes as the host of the show, but my background is in music performance. Everything in the moment may be improv and reacting, but the more I’m prepared on a subject ahead of time - the more I’ll have to draw from during the show.

Just this week, we recorded the first episode of our next season. The guest was almost too perfect for the show. We got an hour into the show and hadn’t even touched on the main subject. The Power Fantasy has been a dream to cover, but the next season is on music. And if you’ve been listening you know how near to my heart that is.
